Discovering and applying for roles at Amazon
Welcome to the first step in discovering opportunities at Amazon. We want to make sure you’re prepared. To help you get started, we’ve provided a few of our most frequently asked questions.
How do I apply?
To start, search for a job of interest. You can search by locations, business categories, job categories or keywords.
Once you find the job you are looking for, click the “Apply Now” button next to the title of the role at the top of the page.
Then, follow the directions on your screen. Either create a new profile, or log back in if you’re a returning candidate.

To work at Amazon you will need to meet the following minimum requirements:
- A South African ID
- Be able to work required hours
- A minimum qualification of Grade 12 (or equivalent)
- Amazon reserves the right to conduct Employee Verification Checks, including but not limited to Criminal and Credit Checks
If you haven’t heard back within 30 days, your application was unsuccessful.
