Applicants who meet the initial requirements will be short-listed and invited to centres of their choice for further processes.
Short-listed applicants will be invited for the Physical and Body screening.
The First Phase of GPS Recruitment is Sales of E-Voucher, this Sale of E-Voucher commenced 19th February 2023 and ended 9th March 2023..
Phase 2 – Online Application
The Second Phase of Ghana Prisons Recruitment is Online Application, this involves the Online Registration on the GPS ePortal by suitably qualified members of the public. Online registration started on 21st February, 2023 and general recruitment applications ended on 27th March, 2023. See more details here.
Phase 3 – Checking Screening Dates and Centre
The Third Phase of Ghana Prisons Service Recruitment is checking your Screening date and selecting your screening centre, QUALIFIED applicants report to their selected screening centres on dates specified on their SCREENING CHIT for Physical Screening.
Phase 4 – Aptitude Test Screening
The Fourth Phase of GIS Recruitment is Aptitude Test Examination, Examinations will be held in June 2023 for JUNIOR OFFICERS and SENIOR OFFICERS (GRADUATES).

After the above Phases are completed, the Ghana Prisons Service will release the list of shortlisted candidates for the Ghana Prisons Service Recruitment exercise.
